Shut Out The Light

We pride ourselves on consistently producing and distributing high-quality films. With a small team, we see the project through from pre- to post-production, and prioritise subjects we take a personal interest in.

Nature of the Beast

Our first feature, Nature of the Beast, was released in cinemas in 2017 and toured the UK with over 250 screenings. A documentary about Labour stalwart Dennis Skinner, it received numerous four-star reviews and a feature in The Observer. For more information, see our Nature of the Beast page.

The Big Meeting

Our second feature documentary, The Big Meeting, was released in cinemas in 2019. It is the first official film about the Durham Miners' Gala and was filmed in 2018, captured with 15 cameras. It received four-stars in The Guardian and Time Out. See our page on The Big Meeting for more details.
